• Admissions to BDS are often made through the national-level NEET test, which is administered throughout the country.

• Since 2016, it has been required for students applying to medical degrees like as MBBS, BDS, and others to appear for the NEET exam.

• To be eligible for the program, students must score at least 50% on the 10+2 qualifying examination.

• Candidates are admitted to the college's admission procedure only if they meet the college's eligibility requirements.

• Once students pass the exam and meet the admissions cut-off, they can begin the counselling sessions for college entrance.

BDS Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility for a course is a requirement for admission to a specific college or course. The following are the basic eligibility requirements for admission to BDS programs:

• They must have passed the 10+2 qualifying exam or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized institution. • They must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology compulsorily during their 10+2.

• Almost every college that offers this program admits students based on their NEET score. To be considered for admission, the student must pass the exam's cut-off score.

• If students are admitted, they must attend college-sponsored counselling sessions.

• Generally, three rounds of counselling sessions are scheduled.
